Earwax Removal Instructions!!

Please apply Waxsol or olive oil to
'Both' ears to soften the wax

Please place a few drops of waxsol (waxsol is preferable) or olive oil

into 'both' ears 4 or 5 times prior to the appointment

to soften the wax. 

 

Waxsol: Day before the appointment in the morning and evening and then the morning of the appointment.  Fill the ear with the waxsol and then let it soak in by lying on the opposite side.  Do both ears even if only one feels blocked

Olive oil:  Four or five evenings before the appointment and then morning of the appointment.  Fill the ear with olive oil and then let it soak in by lying on the opposite side. Do both ears even if only one feels blocked

This above preparation is very important for a quick and easy procedure completed in one session.

Please Note: If you have a perforated eardrum this procedure is not suitable for you.   Do not put waxsol or olive oil in your ears.  You will need to get your ears suctioned

 

A booking fee of $35 applies if there is no wax or for not attending the appointment without notifying us.
