Please advise us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or postpone your appointment. A Booking Fee of $35 applies if you fail to turn up to a booked appointment.

Appointment times for earwax removal. Earwax removal appointments are 20 minutes long and our ear-nurses have multiple back-to-back appointments. It is therefore important to arrive in time for your appointment. If you are late, we may not be able to complete the procedure in time in which case a second appointment will be required.

Microsuction or Irrigation - Which to Choose?

We offer both a modern and safe 'Irrigation' technique or 'Microsuctioning' technique for earwax removal. Both these techniques are safe and reliable when used by our trained practitioners. Our experienced team of practitioners will inform you of the best solution for you.

If you've always had one method or the other and have a personal preference for this, then we are happy to accommodate your preference. Please advise in the comments section if you are specifically requiring one method over the other.

Earwax Removal Preparation

Preparation is the same for both Microsuctioning or Irrigation. Please administer olive oil for 2 or 3 nights prior to the appointment. Place a few drops in each ear (both ears even if only one feels blocked) and lie on the other side for 5-10 minutes to let it absorb. Preparation is very important for a successful outcome.

Costs of Earwax Removal - $65

- $50 ACC clients

In the vast majority of cases we are able to remove the wax from both ears in one appointment.

However, if it has been many years since you last had earwax removal or if the wax is particularly hard or buried very deeply it may require a second or even third appointment. Subsequent appointments are $50

If there is no wax present then a booking fee of $35 will apply.
